The obituaries contained in the linked documents come from local newspapers. These initial entries have been transcribed from donations of obituaries which were originally contained in notebooks in the genealogy room. As the documents’ physical states were not stable (non-archival adhesives, newsprint, etc.), these have been typed up and digitized. More obituaries will be added as they are transcribed. If you have obituaries that you would like to add to the collection, please feel free to share them with us. The obituaries are in PDF form, alphabetized by surname and then last name. They are searchable, simply by hitting “CTRL+F” on your keyboard and typing in the word or phrase for which you are looking.
