Friends of the Library Board

The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in and supportive of this library; to focus public attention on the library in order to inform the public of library benefits; to stimulate effective use of the present library’s resources and services; to support and cooperate with the library in developing additional necessary and desirable library services and facilities for the community; and to encourage the library’s provision of cultural activities needed by the community. The Friends help raise funds for the library through an annual book sale and other events.
The Friends meet the second Thursday of the odd months (January, March, May, July, September, November) at 4:00 pm at the library. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
